Indigo Island

I have been based in India for the last 20 years and started Indigo Island with my UK-based sister in 2016. When she decided to retire in 2023 I needed to find a company who could fulfil her role in the UK and who I could trust 100 per cent to take care of my stock, fulfilment and customers. I was very disheartened by the options available, until I was introduced to Lena from White Glove by a friend.
As a small business, inventory management and excellent customer service is key to our operations. When running low on stock we never want to disappoint a customer by not being able to fulfil their order due to systems not syncing or human error.
White Glove’s controls have been invaluable to us on that front and in the time we have worked together there has not been a single instance of this happening.
Due to the handmade nature of our product, I have also really valued having a fulfilment partner with an eye for detail, capable of acting as a second layer of quality control. In the rare case of any minor product issues – for example, a cracked button – they are quick to consult me. We also offer a gift wrapping service which requires our garments to be unwrapped, re-folded and placed in a gift box with ribbon and a personalised note. I can wholeheartedly trust White Glove to handle this, including for some of our VIP customers, and I’m always confident that recipients will receive a beautifully packaged gift.
Because I work in a different time zone, speed of response and clear communication have been a key asset of the White Glove service. When I send an email from India outside of UK office hours, I know that I will get a reply as soon as the team begins work in the morning. I am always confident that any requests I share with them from customers regarding, for example, a change of delivery address or an alternative size requirement, will be resolved quickly and efficiently and then confirmed to me.
White Glove’s level of care has meant a great deal to me and since the day our stock was added to their systems, I simply have not had to worry. After my initial disappointing efforts to find a fulfilment company who could meet our very particular requirements, it came as an enormous relief to find Lena and White Glove.
From the very first day we first spoke I knew I could trust them with my brand. They have been simply exceptional in every way, and I could not have asked for more from them.
